Shreelakshmi (Shree) is an enthusiastic, passionate, courteous, and friendly physiotherapist who provides informed, organized, and therapeutic exercise sessions. She is extensively trained to design therapeutic programs involving both active and passive movements to improve functional abilities.
Shree obtained her Bachelor of Physiotherapy in India, and is a Registered Physiotherapist licensed to practice in Canada. She has experience performing functional ability assessments, and is adept at designing treatments suited to the condition of the patient and keeping their best interest and goals in mind. She provides carefully curated management techniques – which include but are not limited to; joint mobilization and soft tissue release.
Shree is also a Level 1 Pelvic Floor Therapist and is certified to provide a Physical Therapy approach for anyone experiencing Urinary Incontinence.
Shree has also been certified to assess Temporomandibular Joint (TMJ) dysfunction, and provide carefully curated management techniques – which include but are not limited to; joint mobilization and soft tissue release.
Dedicated to evolving her skills, Shree consistently updates by merging the most recent, evidence-based literature with the latest practical techniques. She incorporates Yoga and breathing techniques in her treatment along with education and ergonomic advice as she believes in a holistic approach to treatment.
