Alex graduated from the University of Ottawa’s Masters of Health Sciences in Physiotherapy program in 2022. Prior to this, he earned his Bachelors in Kinesiology from the University of Waterloo’s Kinesiology co-op program in 2020. During his time at UW, he was able to apply his knowledge throughout 2 years of full-time opportunities in the physiotherapy, personal training, and ergonomic fields. Alex’s interest in health and performance has led him to become a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist, as well as obtain further certifications in therapeutic taping.
Alex believes a thorough assessment must be conducted, and treatment programs should always revolve around the patient’s specific goals. When working with Alex, these goals are typically met through hands-on therapy, educating the patient on their condition, and a well-designed exercise program.
Growing up, Alex played a wide variety of sports including hockey, rugby, volleyball, and soccer. Currently he enjoys strength training, running, and exploring the trails that Guelph has to offer!”
