Medhavi first completed a Bachelors of Physiotherapy (BPTH) from Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Mumbai, India. She then obtained a Masters degree in Health science (MHS) in Physical therapy from the University of Indianapolis, Indiana, USA in 2011.
After working for five years, Medhavi decided to further pursue her interest in orthopedics by enrolling in a Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) program in orthopedics from the Evidence In Motion Institute of Health Professions, USA. She has since worked in an outpatient orthopedic clinic for the past three years. In June 2020, she acquired the Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS) certification from the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA).
Medhavi has a keen interest in orthopedics and has been working on continuing education courses in manual therapy and dry needling. She wishes to further specialize in sports related injuries. She believes in designing patient specific goals and that each patient’s journey towards achieving those is different and personal.
She has recently moved to Canada from the US and her personal interests involve outdoor activities such as hiking, kayaking, sketching and painting.
