Teresa graduated from The University of Toronto in 1999 with a Bachelor of Science in Physiotherapy. She also holds a bachelor of Kinesiology from McMaster University.  Stemming from her days as an athlete who representing Canada in her competitive years, Teresa has a keen interest in orthopedic and sports injuries.  She attended the 2004 Athens Olympics as a physiotherapist for the Canadian Wrestling Team.  Since retiring from active competition, she continues her love of sports by mentoring physiotherapists and assisting on the sidelines with her children’s sports teams.  Prior to joining the South City Physiotherapy team Teresa worked in acute care and private practice.

Teresa holds Certificates in Sports Physiotherapy and Integrated Dry Needling (IDN).  She is also a Fellow of the Canadian Academy of Manipulative Physical Therapists (FCAMT) after receiving a Diploma in Advanced Manual Therapy.  She continues to broaden her skills and knowledge by taking courses to provide her patients with evidence based treatments.

Teresa divides her practice between clinical hours at South City Physiotherapy and a private industry contract where she is the onsite physiotherapist.
